COVID-19 independent analysis
There are many publications and analyses on COVID-19, but unfortunately, they are often used to prove the implicit theory, for example, a strategy of collective resistance to COVID-19 with the approach Sweeden took or, on the contrary, complete lockdown of society. I don’t know which theory is correct, but I can see that anyone can quickly get lost in information overload.
To solve this problem, I’ve created a COVID-19 data service. My code collects data on confirmed cases, deaths, tests, hospitalization rates, people quarantined, active, and recovered (and more), fetching data from multiple sources. Among others, my library includes data analysis methods to produce meaningful trend graphs and meaningful comparisons between countries based on their population.
Anyone with basic Python skills can easily create their own analysis with the complete flexibility using data frames in jupyter lab / notebook
Do you want to check the data for yourself? Go ahead and use it: https://github.com/LukaszSwolkien/Covid19
There are many websites already providing much COVID-19 information. The purpose of this code is to provide complete flexibility in jupyter lab / notebook analysis for anyone with Python skills who want to check data for themselves
